Jeff Bezos: “Failure & Invention Are Inseparable Twins” 👶👶🏾

With any creative, innovative, or groundbreaking idea, failure comes along with the package deal.

Failure is always a strong possibility.

We can’t have one without the other.

It’s just how the universe is wired.

Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon (and its conglomerate of subordinate companies) would know this well.

He states it simply as “Failure & invention are inseparable twins.”

I used to see failure and invention like most creatives — as polar opposites (like North and South).

But, for me, a healthier way to look at it is that failure and invention are opposites of the SAME pole — this is why they come together as a pair.

But there’s something really powerful here that we all possess.

With the right practice, any of us can use our thoughts and actions to push and nudge the needle to one side or the other.

But that’s for another time.
